Carine is Leaving French Vogue

The remarkable Carine Roitfeld was enlisted as the editor of French Vogue/ Vogue Paris in 2001 and after ten years in this position Carine has decided to leave the powerhouse. This has set the rumor mill into a spin about a possible collaboration with long term friend and designer extraordinare ,  Tom Ford.

We should have been more than prepared for this days as Ms. Roitfeld has previously said in 2009;

“I don’t know what I will do next, but I cannot do the same for the next 10 years. I love to change. I have been here eight years; I think maybe 10 years is good. But for now, I am very happy in my little Paris.”

Carine is leaving in order to concentrate on her own projects and I for one cannot wait to see what these projects will be and where they will be.
